I was wondering if there is a way to make it so when I put in a date like in this picture and drag across it auto fills the same day, but for the next month.

For example; When I put in January first and then drag across, I want it to say February 1... March 1... April 1... ect.

As you can see from the picture, when I drag across with the mouse it just goes January 2... January 3... January 4... ect.

I assume there is a way to do this, but can't figure it out. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure about Numbers, but in Excel, you need to enter the desired dates in 2 cells, then drag from there to use that sequence/series.

A1="2/1/2008" B1="3/1/2008"

Then drag to the right to get "4/1/2008...5/1/2008..." etc.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried that by filling out the first three and then when I drag over it replaces the next two and keeps going throughout.

Example: I put...
1/1/2008 2/1/2008 3/1/2008

When I drag over I get...

1/1/2008 1/2/2008 1/3/2008 1/4/2008 ect...

I'm thinking there's a place to make a format change, I just cant find it.

I figured it out. I was trying to select the cells incorrectly. It all works flawlessly now.
