For those who have or have used both, which one should I get?

Numbers got better with the iOS 4.2.1 update. It now handles merged cells. It always handled graphics. I had not been using my iPad for my office paperwork because the spreadsheet programs that did cell merge didn't handle graphics and the ones that did handle the graphics logo didn't merge cells. Now numbers does both. I am not familiar with Mariner.

I hate to post b/c I'm not familiar with Mariner. However, if you use a document management app such as Dropbox or Readledocs, I would think twice about Numbers as it does not export directly to these type of of apps. I find this failure a major problem with the Iwork suite, given the Ipad's lack of a native file manager
