If you want Numeric Wifi on iPhone 4S, similar to GSM wifi through the field test, it is possible, even without a jailbreak for the device. If you have a previously jailbroken device that has Numeric Wifi turned on, update it to iOS 5. Then restore the iPhone 4S to the backup of the previous device. Numeric Wifi, or any settings you left on on SBS, will carry over to the new device (If you did not turn it on while your old device was jailbroken on iOS 4.3.3, I do not know how you could turn it on, short possibly of a tethered jailbreak, on iOS 5).

Note: Siri will be defaulted to be shut off. You'd have to turn this back on or it would be the normal voice command software that we all know and definitely don't love.

This DEFINITELY worked for me coming from a jailbroken iPod Touch 4th Generation running iOS 4.3.3 before updating to iOS 5.0 on the device. My settings carried over, and now are running on my iPhone.

Some odd things though-ALL of my iPod purchases are running on BOTH my iPhone and iPod. Which is kind of cool, though my use for the iPod Touch is very diminished.
