Hello,
I am learning Flash CS5 and the teacher strongly recommended getting a numpad in order to set up shortcuts since pretty much all the other keys on the keyboard are already in use for shortcuts in this program (even when adding cmd or shift or both...).
This seemed like a good idea so I bought the aluminum USB with numpad.
The problem is, when the teacher (online pre-recorded courses) sets up numpad keyboard shortcuts in Flash CS5, Flash displays "numpad 4" but when I do the same thing with my bran new keyboard, Flash only displays "4" which, of course, is already assigned.
This numpad is pretty useless if I can't get Flash or my mbp to recognize that it is a different key then the "regular" 4 key (above the "e" and the "r" keys).
This might seem like and odd question but does anyone know how to get my mbp to understand this is a "numpad 4" key (4 is just an example, of course) and not just a plain 4?
Thanks a bunch!
