I'm looking for an app where I can input what I eat and the app gives me the nutritional breakdown.

Ideally, the app would also be able to tell me what my diet lacks and what it has too much of.

TIA. :)

I have been using MyNetDiary for the past month and it suits my needs, although I don't know if the breakdown would be enough for you. I really just use it for fat and calorie intake control, although it is set to give me feedback on salt as well. :)

I'm holding out for Tap & Track to be released for the ipad, however FatSecret is not too bad.

I haven't used fatsecret on the ipad yet but I have it on my android phone and absolutely love it. It also syncs with their website so you can get a more detailed view. Personally I think it is better on the phone though because you can scan the barcode and then have it pull the nutritional data from the database based only on that.
