nVidea GT340 PowerMacG5

Hey, a friend gave me a free nVidea GT340, and as I only have macs the only available system was my PowerMacG5 so I put it in however when my display is directly put into the graphics card it does not display anything.

I am currently running of my original graphics card with the GT340 in another slot.
The problem I am having is that I am not sure whether or not the graphics card is actually running, it is in my system profiler but it does not extensive information which leads me to think it is not running.

True, it won't work in any PPC. There's no PPC ROM and driver for this card (to the OP: card for PPC must have PPC ROM on it).
In PCIe G5 you can run only (original Mac or flashed ones):
– GF 6600 series
– GF 7800 series
– Quadro FX4500
– ATI X1900

There is no PPC ROM for these cards, or drivers for 10.5, it will not work.
