Awesome news.

The last beta drivers were a huge improvement over the crappy Apple one. Was getting around 40fps on GW2 maxed out at 1920x1200.

i just finished installing win 7 using boot camp.

Do these drivers just install or are there any mods that need to be done in order for these drivers to work on my retina???

Can these drivers also be used with Windows 7 or 8 in a VM (Parallels or VMWare Fusion)?

They should. Otherwise download the nvwi.inf file from here:

http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/178-30x-series-geforce-driver-release/

And replace the original configuration file before installing.

Unfortunately, display dimming is not supported with these drivers. Best to leave the rMBP on AC power while running Boot Camp.

Well, I own a MacBook Pro 13" 2010 model with an NVidia GeForce 320M, but the NVidia 306.23 driver package is identical to that for the 650M. On my system display dimming didn't work with either the default configuration file or the one provided by Laptop Video2Go. So I'm assuming rMBP owners will have the same issue.

I just installed and the brightness controls still work.

My brightness controls work just fine with these drivers.

:)

I think when you install, you use upgrade and NOT clean install. Then it retains the brightness setting.
