Hey I was looking into buying a new Mac book Pro and I wanted to know what you guy though of the graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 256MB ) for movies and high end games, also if the 512mb makes a big difference to the 256?

If you play games, 9600GT is a must, but there's no difference between 256MN and 512MB really.. Maybe few frames more
Higher memory in a video card will usually allow you to play at higher resolutions while maintaining the same performance. I find the 9600M GT adequate for games...
