Hi all,

I couldn't find any or accurate discussion in terms
of the performances of these two graphic cards.

Cause I'm thinking of buying an 21.5 Imac however I
don't have much budget so I'll go with a refurbished
one.
I do graphic design and video editing
and therefore I need to know if Ati's performance
justifies the 300$ price difference.

If only it's a difference of little more rendering time
I can take it. As my 7 year old eMac really got me
used to hours of rendering times.

There's some information in the below link and it says
that the frame rate in Ati is 69.1 and Nvidia is 21.9...

These are the only vales Ati has outdone its Nvidia Counterpart.
Does anybody know how this translates into the performance.

Thank you all in advance...

For the tasks you have mentioned, the video card does little to nothing. They are all CPU bound activities. However if you do 3d-rendering or gaming, then the ATi video card will be a huge improvement. Some people still recommend the ATi video card to have a more future proof iMac, since the video card cannot be upgraded at a later time. Of course, thats your call.
