I started to play Left 4 Dead since yesterday. I have a Macbook Pro 2009, so I have both NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and 9600M GT graphic Cards.
I have been switching between these two and found out, somehow I get better performance on 9400M.
It is very smooth when I use 9400M and when I switch to 9600m GT, it was very laggy....
Does anyone has the same experience? or Does anyone know how to fix it?

The 9400 craps out and makes your screen flicker. Obviously, the 9600 with 512 dedicated to graphics is better for gaming.

Ya.. That's what I heard before. But somehow 9600 keep having problem...
Is it just my laptop's problem? Is there anything wrong with my 9600?

did you even read the post?

OP - are you using the same settings with both graphics cards?

Ha! I just realize that when I switch between two graphic cards, it has different setting. That's why it does not work well in 9600. I try to lower the setting when I use 9600, it was very smooth. Thanks xxBURT0Nxx

That's what I figured the problem would be because the 9600 is definitely a better card, but it still isn't good enough to run modern games at really high settings. Glad you got it fixed!
