Hello,
I've just purchased a new Mac Pro. I'm wondering if the video card will actually support 3 monitors? I know the docs say 2, but if I plug a dual into the DVI and then use the miniport as well, will 3 work?

Thanks.

Henry

Curious what you mean by this:

"but if I plug a dual into the DVI"

Displayport is supposed to daisy-chain....but not sure if hardware to do this exists yet.

Firewire 400 and SCSI were also supposed to do this but people rarely did.

Does anybody know yet if this GT 120 will work on the 2008 mac pro.

Just like how the stock 2600 for the 2008. Was not advertised to work with the 2006 when it was first released.

each card can support two moniters, so if you have one card you can have 3 moniters, 2 from the card 1 from the mini display port
