Hi all,

I currently have a pretty crappy graphics card; it's a NVIDIA GeForce8600MT with 128 MB of VRAM. I'm having a really hard time playing the Sims 3 (very laggy) and I like playing other games too. Is there anywhere that I can get a new graphics card? I looked on NVIDIA's website, but it couldn't find vendors for the mac graphics card. Any advice on which one to get too?

Thanks,
MCOT

sorry but its not possible to upgrade your graphics card in a laptop. Best thing you can do is try running the game in windows and download the latest nvidia drivers for it. that should make it more playable for you.

Laptops any laptop, not just apple do not have upgradeable GPUs. What you bought is what you get, there's absolutely no way to upgrade it after the fact.
