Hi MacRumors. I rarely post anything but thought I'd share my project.

I currently have a MacBook Pro with an equipped Nvidia GTX 780 Ti Superclocked running over Thunderbolt 2. The performance exceeded expectations. Roughly 90% performance of it's desktop equivalent.

Any special tricks required to get it working?

Or is it just plug-and-play and downloading the NVIDIA drivers? I'm interested in getting such a setup running on my 13" rMBP and 15" rMBP (with GT750M)
