NVidia vs AMD for FCPX

Hello everyone,

I do 3d rendering an animation, and know very little about Final Cut Pro. I know that FCP can offload some of the encoding to the GPU. I know for animation Cuda is the way to go, but would FCPX do better with an AMD card? Is there an advantage to Nvidia over AMD?

I'm going to say AMD is the way to go only because Apple is AMD across the board in terms of GPUs.
