In the 10.10.3 update for OS X Yosemite, Apple introduced support for NVM Express (NVMe) for greatly improved solid-state drive performance (the latest Retina MacBook uses NVMe as the logical device interface). Today, Apple announced new iMacs. Does anyone know if the Fusion Drives offered in these new iMacs will use the NVMe interface, or is NVMe only taken advantage of by all-flash drives?
