NXT Mindstorms intel compatible?

I recieved a new lego NXT mindstorms kit today. I am about to install the software but it does not say anything about it being intel mac compatible. It just sais at the top of the requirements: Power PC G3, G4, G5 processor,600 MHz Minimum.

Will it work on my imac core 2 duo?

Any help is much apreciated.

Well if it is not written to run on Intel chips it should run under Rosetta on your iMac.

What will happen if it dosent? Will I get an error message or will my computer crash?

Edit: I decided to find out for my self and it works, so far...

yeah, 99% of PPC stuff should work just fine on any intel-based mac
