Ny LTE Coverage better on At&t Or Verizon, plan for individual

I just renewed my contract with at&t but was contemplating moving to verizon (I can return the phone and be contract free) . I dont know anyone with Verizon and wanted to get opinions here. Im not worried about losing my unlimited data plan, I average between 1-2 gb. I live in Queens but close to Long island.

For some reason AT&T LTE works better for me in NYC vs Verizon

If you end up not liking the coverage you can just sell your unlimited data plan plus the phone on eBay
 
For some reason, I find the underground subways more AT&T friendly than Verizon in the city, but that could just be me.

I get AT&T coverage under ground at several subway stops in NYC. 14th, 23rd and 34th street on the west side.

True in Boston, too. TMO and AT&T have the MBTA subway tunnels pretty well covered, not Verizon. I asked VZW about this, and no known plans to wire them :mad:
