NYC 5th Ave Apple Store opening

Hi all,

First off I am sorry if someone already posted here about the same thing (tell me if you did.

I was thinking about going and camping out for the May 19th 6pm opening of the new Apple store on 5th ave (outside FAO Schwartz, SW corner of central park.)

I'm thinking about camping out ALL day. You never know what kind of prizes they might have

How early would you be going?

I wasn't asking others to camp out ALL day with me (unless you are as crazy as me about macs)... but just wondering who would be going early, how early they would be going...

They do at major OS releases... I dont see why they wouldn't at their "Flagship" store.

All the MR users near the area should get together and gather there as a group...

It would be so awesome if they gave out computers...I doubt it though.

I will try to visit that weekend or the week after because crowds tend to be very large. When I went to the Soho store once OS X was released, the line was extremely long and I wound up going home. There probably will be giveaways, but when I want something I'll gladly pay.
