Any crossword puzzle fans? What is the hardest day you can usually finish? I'm not very good but I really enjoy taking a stab at them.

Truthful bragging is encouraged. :D

Just wondering because I honestly don't know:

Is there a difference of difficulty between days?

Yes. Monday is the easiest and the puzzle gets more difficult each day. Saturday is the hardest.

Good topic. I generally consider myself a wed guy but on occasion I can do a Thursday/Sunday.

Being good at crosswords isn't about just memorizing the repeated clues (crosswordese). That isn't to say that practice doesn't make perfect though.

Doing crosswords daily opens up a different part of your mind. The more you do them the easier answers become. And generally, with the new york times at least, the answers aren't obscure but words or phrases we use every day.

Tuesdays are pretty easy, Wednesdays I can usually do reasonably well. Beyond that it's kind of iffy as to whether or not I will actually get anywhere.

One time I finished a Saturday puzzle over the course of two or three weeks and after cheating on two clues. :D

I don't usually do them, but coincidentally, I attempted a cryptic crossword together with my co-workers yesterday at work. She started doing them, and it's incredibly....uh......cryptic.
