NYU: Tisch

So i'm transferring to the Tisch school of arts.

Applying, anyway.

I'd like to hear from some of you who are currently at or have attended Tisch. How selective was the application process? What were your grades like/previous experience in your field? I'm in film, and have had a few internships and edited (and filmed about a quarter of) a second-tier ski film. I have some recommendations that will certainly help me (Possibly Mrs. Tisch and a board member). The application is due in April, and I want it to be as totally bueno as possible.

And how is NYU? I would love to be in the city...

im at the NYFA (New York Film Ac.) i cant give u any help at NYU. i heard it was more on the classroom side.

I was looking at NYFA. How is that? Are you in the 2 year program?

its wonderful.....hands on experience and its never dull....unless we get a boring guess speaker that only wants to talk about his film and not help us...bastard....oppz sorry went off in la la land. i'm in my last semester and i cant wait to get out there and never make a film
