There are few people in the world I unconditionally hate, especially those I've never met... but.

I didn't care when he was arrested the first time. There are lots of murders and thefts. They are all tragic, but it doesn't change the fact that he's just a football player. Doesn't make him any different than anyone else

Not to knock anyone who was really into his first trial, just how I view things

Just heard on the radio an excerpt of the counts being read out, including a count of burglary with a deadly weapon. All the counts together could mean up to 30 years in prison.

Edit: Las Vegas Police Department captain James Dillon said Simpson has been charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit burglary and burglary with a fiream.

"This morning after a careful review ... the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department decided to effect the arrest of O.J. Simpson," Dillon said.

We have a saying for that

Crea fama y acuestate a dormir...

That means: create fame and go to sleep

In other words: once you create a reputation there the rest will come itself.

How was that not robbery? Is he retarded?
That would be preferable since many mentally challenged individuals are sweet, loving human beings. I think it's closer to: What is a psychopath? He certainly meets the requirements.

"The prototypical psychopath has deficits or deviances in several areas: interpersonal relationships, emotion, and self-control. Psychopaths lack a sense of guilt or remorse for any harm they may have caused others, instead rationalizing the behavior, blaming someone else, or denying it outright. Psychopaths also lack empathy towards others in general, resulting in tactlessness, insensitivity, and contemptuousness. All of this belies their tendency to make a good, likable first impression. Psychopaths have a superficial charm about them, enabled by their low self-consciousness, a willingness to say anything without concern for accuracy or truth. This extends into their pathological lying and willingness to con and manipulate others for personal gain or amusement."

Maybe he could pen some notes about it, try to publish, get prevented by his victims, who can then do an about face and cash in on the writing themselves when it suits them. That is, after waiting to be cleared of guilt in the robbery before then being sued for cash anyway (technically as an innocent man). It's not black and white, folks ('scuse the pun).

He's arguing that he didn't have weapons, and that he didn't use (or threaten) force towards anyone to get his stuff. He says that he came in, and through some sort of magic (I don't know where Nevada law stands on the use of magic), the guys just gave him his stuff back. That wouldn't be robbery (unless using magic is considered illegal force - and having seen some of the acts in Vegas, it should be).

Even more confusing was that whole mess with the accuser defending Simpson, but then explaining that he had meant that he defended him in the past, and this time he was nothing more than an impartial tool in the case and the conversation was off the record.

Oh. And yes.
