Maybe this partnership is starting to go sour already?

Although it states it will not work on the iPhone it will be interesting to see how o2 explains this one as they are supposed to be peddling the iPhone for its multimedia abilities including direct music downloads via itunes wi fi store.

Haven't O2 had a (very) similar service anyway for about three years?

The article says you won't be able to use this feature on the iphone as it uses a full browser and not WAP. It's only available on the WAP mobile platform so no worries for Apple.
