O2 - Can't send Flash SMS anymore :(

Have O2 had a sense of humour failure? I used to be able to send Flash sms's from my iPhone by typing *go to start the message. Now it doesn't work. I have a 3gs but used to do this on my 2G.

Anyone still able to make this work?
