Wondering if it will effect the jailbreak?

Any info

Thanks

carrier setting

My carrier setting is 4.0

I did notice today that there was no ability to get data whilst on 3g or edge.
No programs could connect
I was getting email though

I had this problem around lunchtime on 3G, before installing update. Data connection came back about 2pm, still before update.

Have now installed update and can confirm all still working, including tethering the unofficial way.

Carrier is listed as O2 4.4

Installed it and it took me to 4.4 but it didn't seem to affect my tethering hack...the preference option was still visible post update. It reset my APN settings to idata which doesn't work for me as i'm not on the normal iPhone tariff

Im on O2 4.0 and i have just been prompted to update my settings (never had this option before so i went searching to see what it did).

Hope all goes well

I had OS 4.0.

I phoned up customer support and gave them an ear bashing for having 3G network issues which have been going on for a week now.

The carrier updates to 4.4 and not noticed anything different.

One small point for pay and go customers the data settings get set back to the contract settings and have to be changed again in the network settings like you had to do when you 1st got the phone

Carrier updates and trimmed sim

Hi yes, been having problems with battery on new iPhone 4, max 6 hrs use on full charge. So have been searching round settings and been offered the choice to update.
Just wondering if anyone knows what's it's about? I'm on unlocked iPhone 4 4.0 settings and trimmed my sim on O2 simplicity which is working fine. Can the up date bugger my little workaround???

Any comments or advice, gratefully received.
