O2 Finally emailing... about as pointless as it gets though.

I just got the first email from O2 after signing up as soon as they added the info to the website. Here is the email:

Why could they not give us a bit more information?!

Its basically word for word what they put out in the txt message a couple of days ago, just with fancy picture.

I would rather they saved themsleves the effort and just wait until they had something usefull to say.

Had mine to, it says if you go to the O2 link you can find the tariffs available on launch day, but the PAYG is still blank, does this mean it won't be available on the 11th

That's exactly why they have played it this way.

They've learned a few things from Apple about secrecy and uncertainty about supply generating hysteria!

I got the email, what a load of pants. It's basically just trying to get people even more excited and build up demand higher with the "we expect to be sold out within hours so we're limiting the phone to one per customer". I doubt they will sell out, not many people are just going to start on new contracts on the 11th. I will though , providing the phone doesn't sell out before midday across the whole of Birmingham City Centre, which I seriously doubt.

I think they txted O2ers yesterday cos its free and emailing non O2ers today so not spamming and costing on other networks.

I got mine at 13.24. Anyone any sooner? Think they are sending it out in order of sign up for more info as did it to 2 accounts seperately over 2 days and only just recieved it for the other email account.

I wonder if this will be how they decide the order of giving them out on the day?
