hi guys, a quick question does any one know that baseband the o2 PAYG iphone ships with ? i am looking to replace my 1gen and unlock it with yellow snow one its released.

I've heard that it's very difficault to replace the boot loader once you've updated.

I got an iPhone 3G 8Gb on PAYG on December 22nd in the Central London Apple Store.

Week 48 model and it came with Firmware 2.1 (baseband 02.11.07) on it so it's all good to go when yellowsn0w comes out

I think it all depends on how new the unit is?
