Got my iPhone shortly after release in the UK, activated & jailbroke it using ibrickr iirc. Since then I've had everything working as I liked. I'm now looking to update to 2.0.2 but as I've not kept up to date I'm a bit unsure what to do.

I've read that original iphones can now be officially activated using an o2 payg sim card and used with a £10/month iphone bolt on.

(1)Is this correct? What difference is there between this and the £7.50 one I use currently? If I officially activate with my payg sim will I only be able to use the £10 bolt on?

I think I can replace most of my favorite installer apps with those from the appstore but will miss themes the most so will have to jailbreak for winterboard (afaik).

(2)What is the best way to go about this? quickpwn?

(3)Also, what is retained in the iphone backup? Anything I might need to do manually?

Thanks in advance for any advice/pointing me in the right direction!

p.s. I'm using Windows Vista
