"O2" text under time??

I have a fully legit uk iPhone, a few moments ago the SIM suddenly locked itself, when I unlocked it the text "O2" appeared under the time and it's still there. I'd post an image but i'm on the train, no other obvious changes at the moment.



Anyone else got this?

I had that happen to me yesterday on the BART Train in San Francisco, CA. I thought maybe it was "no connection" but then it happened again today. I just did a "hard-boot" and it was back to normal, but it shouldn't be freezing-up!
