Sneaky things....

Anybody else noticed how they now want you to commit for 2 years?

Last year it was £99 for 8GB iPhone 3G @ £35 per month for 18 months.

This year they want £200 for 16GB @ £35 per month for 18 months.

standard 3g is still £99 on 18month tarrif - that's not a price reduction?

However, if you sign 2 years you can get the 16gb for £99, like last year.

The prices are outragous. They will lose their market share by doing this.

Due to apple not having a price on their site, o2 are free to do what they want really.:(

Well for a supposedly "subsidised" phone those O2 prices are mad!
In the midst of a recession? Hummmmm. Someone's being greedy/stupid.

I'll be sticking with my 1st gen for now… :)

The only thing would have been video recording, but then how often would I be doing that? I don't need a compass… nor the need to talk to my phone instead of using it to talk with.

The 3.0 OS will satisfy my needs for now.

Let's hope as reality bites them in the backside they will see some sense and lower the prices.
