O2 Uk Help Please

im have a uk o2 contract already and am getting a usa iphone this week.will i be able to actvate via itunes 7.4.2,so that it works out of the box? Without having to unlock?

Ive asked this question many times but no one seems to give me a straight yes or no?

I haven't tried updating with 7.4.2 but it should work if not delete it and download 7.4.1 and re-install.....

Just follow THIS guide and its a pretty easy job, take your time. It won't work with your 02 sim out of the box.
