[O2-UK] iPhone tethering hack unresponsive

Hi,

I have the tethering hack enabled on my iPhone 3G via http://help.benm.at/help.php

Now this seemed to work find before but now when I connect my iPhone up (via BT or USB) it works for like ten seconds then the phone becomes very unresponsive and laggy and the connection stops working. Anyone else experience this problem? I really want my tethering back. :(
