O2 UK official iPhone4 unlock

O2 have started unlocking the iPhone 4 that has been bought on their network see here that site has been saying they wouldn't do the iPhone 4 because it was in it's launch period. That must have now ended.

Sorry if this is a repost, I couldn't see it anywhere.

quick tip, instead of filling in the form and waiting up to 14days
just wait for the live chat window to pop up and speak to an advisor and get it done immediately, mine was unlocked within an hour of making the request

Forgot to add; my iPhone 4 is now officially unlocked after applying through O2 for the unlock and receiving the text with instructions 2 days later

This is excellent advice.
It seems as if O2 are running some internal competition for employee of the year or something like that.
They are very happy to help out with any request these past few days — as long as you do their little questionnaire at the end.
The guy I "chatted" with was very insistent that I mention his name.
