This has sort of passed me by, not sure how… I couldn't find any threads about this, but many of you might be interested that internet tethering now appears to be included in all o2 UK iPhone contracts with data limits.

I'm still on an unlimited data deal, so unfortunately it's not included for me. Not sure if it's worth changing my plan just to get tethering included if it means losing my unlimited data, but it is tempting me a bit!

Wow, great news. Thanks.

To late switched from O2 to three 1 Plan , unlimited data, unlimited tethering.

Have 3 improved their network coverage yet? I couple people I know who used to be on 3 never stopped complaining about poor signal strength & dropped calls

Unlimited Tethering has been available on the three all in one plan and it simply brilliant as you get Spotify Premium included for the length of the contract. :D

I've been thinking of going for the One Plan with my next iPhone..

I've heard reception has improved, especially in London.

It's ok where I am, sometimes I can't get a signal especially if I go out into the country side. Mind you I had issues with O2.

I'm trying to get this going.

I'm on the Simplicity12 iPhone tariff with the included data bolt on of 500MB. When I try to enable tethering I get the same old "to set up Internet tethering on this account, visit http://www.o2.co.uk/..." - which just says to add a bolt on.

Any ideas?

The Three one plan is great in principle ...

BUT coverage is *****!

I just had my contract cancelled 22 months early with no charge via the directors office as it was so poor.

As i say .. in principle wow .. in theory no

mhhh probably best to call o2, they should sort it out for you...

Well I guess it depends where you are and where you go ? my mate can't get an orange signal in my house, its sort of swings and roundabouts really. Must say if I was on the road a lot I probably wouldn't go with THREE.

If you signed up before the end of March you won't get the free tethering unless you phone O2 and change to the latest tariff.

Last. Straw.
I've been with O2 for 11 years as of today. I regret the last 10 years of it. Bring on the iPhone 5 and I'll go be disappointed with some other provider.

I think the 500mb data package comes with tethering. My tariff is 100mins for £16.50 and £5 for the data. Which doesn't sound a lot but it's enough for me :).

As much as I think 02's network is crap, I'm tempted to stay with them for the iPhone 5/4s/whatever.

For you maybe, but I'm very happy with my speeds on 3's One Plan.

Are you sure about Spotify?

I'm on the One Plan and would be keen to get it if I can.

I'm on the One Plan and have opted to pay my Spotify premium via my Three phone bill - I thought they just gave 1-2 months free? Text SPOTIFY to 39000 to sign up

It looks like 3 coverage varies quite a bit. I am in London E1W and tried them for a month and never got more than 500K down and about 200K up which is useless. A family member in Guildford has the same problem and is about to go back to o2, they often cannot even make voice calls.
