Oasis record demos with GarageBand

Saw this in the news, and thought it was cool. Noel Gallagher said they recorded the demo's for their new album on Gem's (the other guitarist) laptop using GarageBand...

"We actually do our demos now in Gem's bedroom on his little GarageBand computer"...

Apparently the old demos sounded too good because his studio was too well equipped!

Some people out there are going to have to strongly disagree with him there.

This little story led me to the link and more information. This information aided me in a discussion where someone said that nobody used Garageband.
Especially that no professional bands use Garageband.

If it didn't help with Definitely Maybe but did with Standing on the Shoulders, then I'm scared to think that Garageband is destroying Oasis.
