Oberon cover question

Has anyone tried adding magnets to the oberon cover or can you comment on how it works with the smart cover?

Update. I received my oberon ipad 2/3 cover and added two magnetic strips and a round magnet to the piece of stiff card board in the front and it works great as a smart cover. You cannot tell the magnets are there by looking.
