Oblivion for MAC - PS3 Controller help?

yo!

so i got oblivion for my macbook pro retina 15" and it looks amazing!
i've got a ps3 controller which i hook up via bluetooth which works on any game as long as i map the buttons properly.
I've mapped the buttons physically in the controls section of the oblivion menu just fine and all buttons work but randomly the camera spins around looking up at the ceiling and i strafe to the right.

i can counter these actions with the sticks but it's fully unplayable....

anyone got any suggestions or fixes? would LOVE to get this game fully going with the ps3 controller!

(p.s. i know it's a "better experience" with a mouse and keyboard, but i'm a console guy and i travel a hell of a lot so this makes my life easier, especially on planes where i dont really have the room for a mouse)

I don't use PS3 controllers with my macbook, I prefer using XBOX360 controller.
I suggest you to map your controller with this software : Gamepad Companion.
So far it's working fine (I just finished super meat boy on mac).

Or, you can always bootcamp, it will gives you more performance under windows in Oblivion.
