Went to the store today to look at the phone
1) IPhone 13 Pro Max screen is impressive. The combination of the big screen, extra brightness and promotion felt like a bit upgrade over my 11PM. Seemed to have less of an impact on the 13P. Obviously 13 and 13 mini screens look the same as previous generations
2) Sierra Blue nice, but as a whole, the pro colors are kind of weak. Graphite looks washed out, gold seems more beige, silver is cloudy. On the other hand, IPhone 13 Red is beautiful, midnight looks classy, pink and starlight are interesting. I liked the Blue less than expected - it’s kind of a royal blue I find hard to match with stuff.
3) The camera bumps on the 13 mini and the 13 Pro look disproportionately large for the phones. In contrast iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Max camera bumps look fine.
4) There was a line for pickup this morning. For all the bellyaching these phones seem to be popular. I think the carrier deals are convincing people to upgrade
Long story short I am going to order a 13PM in Sierra Blue.
