Yesterday the mouse froze (out of the blue after the comp worked fine for several days) and when I checked the keyboard I realized it also was frozen. I opened the back of the battery and took out the half centimeter wide copper looking cable out of its slot (the one next to the keyboard ribbon cable).

I wiped the end and put it back in after which when I tested the mouse and keyboard both worked fine again as they should. I believe it may have something to do with the topcase or the same cables. Is there anyway for me to check this because sometimes also when I type it takes really long to load or the figures do not appear.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

My puter freezes up sometimes. I simply turn it off with the power key. It is fine when I start up again.
It's just the puter pixies having fun.

Thanks but that is not normal and it never used to happen until recently plus it is very annoying when you are in the middle of doing your work or writing something. That is why I have posted here to try and solve what is causing this problem.
