Greetings. I'm playing with Safari on my new Mac Pro 2.66. I'm noticing more than occassional slowness loading up certain pages. In particular, when I try to load the Apple.com page, the page just seems to hang on white for a long while. Like, the loading bar zips to half way, then just sort of hangs.

Is Apple.com known as a slow loading page?

Just curious to hear other's experience with this page.

You could be sitting in a chair next to the Apple server in Cupertino and the Apple homepage would still take 4 1/2 minutes to load. It's ridiculous.

Haha. Thanks for the confirmation. Weird how it just hangs there.

I wonder if Amazon.com is on the same server as Apple.com They both hang in the same weird way
