iMac 12,2 w/ AMD Polaris graphics swap. Works great. Ran 14.3 for a long time, then 14.7, then 15.2. Today I upgraded OCLP 2.2 -> 2.4 and re-installed root patches. Still works and boots normally, can see boot regular boot selector screen, but...
When I reboot w/ OPTION key held the screen stays blank as if the OCLP patches + AMD drivers are not loading. This means I can't select thumbdrive EFI to install upgrade / re-image / etc.
I tried downgrading back to OCLP 2.2 and uninstalling / re-installing root patches. Tried clearing NVRAM. Feels very fragile, as USB boot is my safety-net after the graphics card update. Not sure if it's really related to OCLP 2.4 or just a coincidence.
Am I doing it wrong or forgetting something obvious (been a while since I messed with this)?
