OCR software recommendation for OSX?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone suggest a decent OCR software for OSX? I have many PDF files that I would like to run an OCR app on to recognize the text and make the PDF searchable. Any recommendations for a good/decent OCR software? I have tried PDFPen but the program crashes way too much.

Abbyy Finereader - make sure you trial it first though. It might not be compatible with your scanning device? BTW, whjat is your scanning device?

I second that recommendation. Abbyy Finereader has worked perfectly for me for years.
