I’m curious if Mojave has any OCR software built in?

I have a new iMac on the way, and I’m trying to find a scanner so I can clean out the house: but I’m not sure if I’m better off with a high-dollar model with OCR software, or if any old scanner will do the trick with Mojave.

The included Image Capture app does a good job scanning, but macOS does not include any OCR capability. You will need to buy something third party.
