Oct 6-12 shipping dates

I ordered an 6s plus 64gb SG for att Saturday later afternoon. I could not do in-store pickup, my only option was shipped to my house. I got the dates of Oct 6-12th. What are the chances it will ship early? I've never had an iPhone shipped to my house. I've always done in-store pickup or waited 3-4 weeks.

I got my Apple Watch like 3-4 weeks early, I'm hoping the iPhone will ship a few days early as well.

Just from previous years. If you've ordered phones in the past and they arrived early. That's all I'm wondering. Do some arrive early, or are they pretty dead on with their ship dates. Because with my watch and band, both arrived early, but I've never ordered a phone.

Sometimes they have arrived early in past years, sometimes the dates get pushed back. Depends on demand and stock. Right now if you go to the front page of macrumors there is a story about shortages in the 6S Plus:

That could impact your shipment date.

I have a pretty good memory of people on this site stating before that their ship dates were bumped up. I was pretty anal when the 6 came out and kept checking this site.

I understand stuff happens and dates can get pushed back. And I did read that story earlier today.
 
I placed my order on Saturday morning around 8:30am and said it would deliver Oct 1-7 but now when I check online it says Oct 7-14 :/
