October 4th Media event

So rumor has it Apple will host a Media event on October 4th. Great we'll finally be able to stop talking about the iPhone 4S or 5 and get on with the iPhone 6. My concern is will the event be only for the iPhone? Apple is due to release some new iPods unless they've decided to kill off that line. They also have to release iOS 5 or will there be no event for that since it was covered at WWDC.

So what will the October 4th event be about?
