Well, here's my plain 10.3 desktop from my brand new dual 1.8 G5. And when I say brand new I mean I bought it at 9 PM tonight at the Apple Store brand new. I'm loving it

What I would do to make it look better would be to desaturate the background while leaving the flowers the same color. That way you would have yellow flowers on a black and white background. Its pretty simple to do in photoshop but since you don't have it you could try the gimp
If you want you could send me the source pic and I might have a go at it.

The poor flowers are dead and gone. I can't pick anymore because they are dead, too.
