Hey guys I'm new to macs, and my new baseline 15 should arrive anywhere from march 1-7. I'm in Missouri and she's currently in Tennessee lol . But anywho Newegg has a deal on the 120gb agility 2 right now. 169 after a rebate. This seems like a good deal however should I wait till the sata 3 ssds come out? thanks a lot.

Wow, I have been reading around here and the 120g vertex 3 could possibly be $250. That would be a killer deal...But 169 is hard to pass...Sorry guys for posting more ssd stuff but I'm just so excited! lol

I have used a 240gb agility 2 in my 2010 MacBook and just installed it in my 2011 MacBook. I can't go back to magnetic media as a boot device.

Fwiw: I have a 240gb vertex 2 in my htpc, and I wish I would have saved 50 bucks an used an agility in that as well. I love these drives.

have you had any problems with the agility 2? im also looking at the 169 deal and the reviews all say "dont buy it! its crap it breaks, etc."
but for $169, i wonder..
