OCZ Apex 120gb SSD Problem

I Installed my new apex and did a clean leopard installation(not super duper) It seemed to work well but when I tried to upgrade to 10.5.6 It told me the source file had a problem and would not install the upgrade. I opened disk utility and When I tried to verify the dist It told me "Filesystem verify or repair failed" What Am I doing wrong? How can I fix it? Thanks
