OCZ PCI SSD for MP coming ... not soon

Hi all,

I e-mailed OCZ about when they would make a PCI SSD (eg RevoDrive) available for the MP. Short answer is that it is coming, but not soon.

So I reckon maybe 3-6 months. Or maybe they are waiting for the mid-2011 MP to come out as that'll have better support for PCI SSD's?

OCZ's support for Macs hasn't been that great. IIRC firmware updates have to be done in Windows and stuff like that. PCIe thing may be even harder as there are plenty of (e)SATA cards that don't support booting to OS X.
