I would like to buy one instead of my current slow Kingston 40 GB SSD drive with only 170/40 MB/s speeds.

The RevoDrive is Windows-bootable, so yes, that should work. Most likely, however, you won't be able to access it from within OS X; at least I believe to have read somewhere that the OS X drivers aren't very stable or something along those lines.

That's not a problem. I do not need Windows data under Mac OS X :)

It's a great solution, because I do not have to buy expensive SAS controller.

I hope it won't cause kernel panic under Mac OS X.
