I just got a SSD and tried to install OSX on it. Trouble is it won't show up in disk utility, it will if I put it into my Firewire external and I formatted it but it won't even show up after formatting it. Anybody with advice?
I have a MacBook laptop and to clarify the drive isn't recognised on the internal bus.
EDIT: Installed it on a newer MacBook, it works fine. Mine is too old I guess
